A friday night, we improvised a miniatures wargame, Seven Years War. The rules were Honours of War. The minis were 10mm Pendraken.

( On my right flank, my cavalry rushed to regroup with my main forces )

( My cavalry now slowly reformed. We turn the officer 90° while they're not activated, as a reminder.)

( Luc's prussian army started un front of me, and went on his left. My French army regrouped on the hill, and advanced. )

( In the woods, my light infantry fought to slow down Luc's main forces.. )

As it was late (1), we stopped here. We state the prussian won. But not without fear. My poor french officers were my biggest disadvantage ( historical ?! 😉 ). Luc used well the prussian mobility.

A good game, probably not very well balanced, but fun !

We took tooooo many time in the beginning…

Merci encore de m’avoir lu ! Thank you again for reading !

  1. Keith Flint:

Nice to see a game with plenty of room for manoeuvre. I suppose that’s one of the advantages of 10mm models.

    Best wishes, Keith.

Yes, you’re right, Keith. I also like the scale, as it seems to have realistics ranges.
(I looked at your blog and saw many interestings things… 😉 )
