Here we go ! Luc and I started to ply the<\/span> Gembloux campaign<<<\/a> for \u00ab\u00a0Chain of Command<\/strong><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. (most of the figs are from Pendraken)

Voici le compte rendu du 1er sc\u00e9nario jou\u00e9.\u00a0 (la plupart des figs vient de chez Pendraken)<\/p>\n

France 1940, les allemands tentent une perc\u00e9e<\/h2>\n

Les fran\u00e7ais d\u00e9couvrent en arrivant \u00e0 Perbais, que le terrain est tr\u00e8s d\u00e9couvert, et que les fortifications promises n’ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 faites. D\u00e8s le d\u00e9but, les Stukas allemands bombardent le village, d\u00e9truisant une maison et incendiant la gare…<\/p>\n

Perbais. The terrain is very open. The french soldiers found no defense works.. The stukas attacked and bombed the village, destroying a house and setting fire to the railway station.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/td>\nLa gare en feu. Ce qui m’ennuie pas mal, car je comptais m’en servir\u00a0 comme d’un point d’appui retranch\u00e9.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\u00a0Les combats s’engagent<\/h3>\n

J’ai eu du mal \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer mes troupes, choqu\u00e9es par le bombardement du d\u00e9but. Mais j’engage les allemands :<\/p>\n

It was difficult to deploy my units, because they were shocked by the bombing.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Apr\u00e8s un grand nombre d’\u00e9changes de tirs, appuy\u00e9s par leur blind\u00e9 de reco, les allemands me repoussent des premi\u00e8res maisons :<\/p>\n

After severe firefights, helped from an armored car, the german won the first houses.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Priv\u00e9s de leurs chefs, la 1ere section ne tiendra pas :<\/p>\n

Without any officer, the 1st Groupe de combat couln’t hold.<\/p><\/div>\n

Pendant ce temps, sur l’aile gauche, les allemands ont lentement progress\u00e9 dans les champs de bl\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile on the opposite flank, the german slowly crawled in the fields<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Apr\u00e8s de nouveaux \u00e9changes de tirs, le moral des fran\u00e7ais s’\u00e9ffondre, et je quitte le village en laissant 15 hommes sur le carreau \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

After many fights, french morale dropped, and I had to quit the village, leaving 15 men on the ground<\/span> \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

C’est une victoire allemande.<\/h3>\n

Ce fut une partie int\u00e9ressante. Le sc\u00e9nario est tr\u00e8s bien, et laisse pr\u00e9sager une super campagne. Les troupes fran\u00e7aises ressemblent davantage \u00e0 quelquechose que dans les listes de base, tout en ayant encore des points faibles, ce qui est normal. L’utilisation \u00e0 bon escient du bombardement de Stukas m’a bien mis dans la mouise, bravo Luc !<\/p>\n

It was an interesting game, with a good scenario. French platoon is better than the previous lists, but it keeps some historical disadvantages. Luc played well using the Stukas, well done sir !<\/span><\/p>\n
