\"Battle_of_Cedar_Creek-Kurz_Allison\"<\/a>Crispin<\/strong> wrote a new scenario for<\/span> Bloody Big Battles<\/a>. The battle of Cedar Creek<\/strong> (1864) during the American Civil War. I was stuck at home so I decided to playtest this scenario in a solo game. At start I was thinking to use my 15mm ACW minis… but I really\u00a0 like BBB with 2mm minis (1) so I used my 1870 prussians as the Union forces, and my 1870 french for the south \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/p>\n

I was not able to use my usual green felt, so, for the 1st time for me,\u00a0 I hand draw the map on a white paper ( I found some ochre after the game… ! )<\/span><\/p>\n

Crispin<\/strong> a \u00e9crit un nouveau sc\u00e9nario pour les r\u00e8gles de wargame avec figurines Bloody Big Battles<\/a>. La bataille de Cedar Creek<\/strong> ( 1864, pendant la guerre de s\u00e9cession ). Bloqu\u00e9 \u00e0 la maison pour quelques jours, j’ai test\u00e9 ce sc\u00e9nario en solo. D’abord je pensais utiliser mes figurines 15mm, mais j’aime trop les r\u00e8gles BBB en 2mm (1) ! Aussi j’ai utilis\u00e9 mes prussiens 1870 en tant que forces de l’Union, et mes fran\u00e7ais 1870 pour les sudistes.<\/p>\n

Je n’ai pas pu utiliser ma feutrine verte habituelle, aussi pour ma premi\u00e8re fois j’ai dessin\u00e9 la carte \u00e0 la main sur du papier blanc. ( j’ai retrouv\u00e9 le papier ocre apr\u00e8s seulement ..!)<\/p>\n

Cedar Creek avec les r\u00e8gles Bloody Big Battles<\/h1>\n

Le placement initial :<\/p>\n

Les objectifs sont les ponts, Belle Grove et Middletown.<\/p>\n

Combats s\u00e9v\u00e8res entre les v\u00e9t\u00e9rans sudistes et des troupes fra\u00eeches nordistes qui ont repris leurs tranch\u00e9es : ( le manque de munitions se fait cruellement sentir pour les sudistes )<\/p>\n

La nuit tombe et stoppe la bataille<\/h2>\n

Les sudistes tiennent fermement les 2 ponts, mais ne peuvent esp\u00e9rer atteindre Belle Grove, et encore moins Middletown :<\/p>\n

C’est un match Nul. It’s a draw.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Les pertes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 assez cons\u00e9quentes, peut \u00eatre parceque, encourag\u00e9 par l’aggressivit\u00e9 de ses troupes, le camp Sud a engag\u00e9 pas mal de corps \u00e0 corps ?<\/p>\n
