\"rules<\/a>Il y a quelques jours, Luc ( qui avait bien aim\u00e9 notre partie pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente<<<\/a> ) m’a propos\u00e9 de rejouer \u00e0 Piquet Field of Battle 2<\/a>, en guerre de s\u00e9cession.\u00a0 Comme je disposais d’un peu de temps, j’ai pr\u00e9par\u00e9 et r\u00e9dig\u00e9 un sc\u00e9nario complet et historique.<\/p>\n

Several days ago, Luc asked me to play again an ACW game with<\/span> Piquet Field of Battle 2<\/a>, ( he loved our<\/span> previous game<<<\/a> ) I had some time to write a historical scenario. ( This scenari, see below, can surely be improved, please do comment \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 ! ) As usual, we didn’t know exactly the quality of our forces, we rolled only when needed, usualyy when doing a 1st fire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Voici le compte rendu, et le sc\u00e9nario. (ce sc\u00e9nario est tr\u00e8s probablement am\u00e9liorable, j\u2019attends vos commentaires ! \ud83d\ude09 ) Je suis d\u00e9sol\u00e9 pour la mauvaise qualit\u00e9 des images, la salle de wargame n’avait pas assez de lumi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Comme d’habitude, la qualit\u00e9 EXACTE des unit\u00e9s n’est pas connue au d\u00e9but du jeu, elle est d\u00e9termin\u00e9e d\u00e8s qu’on en a besoin ( au 1er tir en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral)<\/p>\n

La situation<\/strong> : Le Nord essaye de sortir d’une nasse dans laquelle il s’est enferr\u00e9. Pour cela les forces principales construisent un pont. le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Salomon (USA) en couverture, va recevoir une attaque sudiste, Ses troupes ne sont pas toutes pr\u00eates \u00e0 combattre, certains r\u00e9giments sont en train de manger ..<\/p>\n

Situation<\/strong> :\u00a0 The North was trying to get out, building a bridge (outside of our map). The General Salomon, (USA) was attacked by the South. His men were not all ready, some of them eating on camp.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le terrain<\/strong> : Il est couvert d’une l\u00e9g\u00e8re for\u00eat, qui ne g\u00eane pas vraiment les mouvements. Ni la vue [ pour ce dernier point, c’est \u00e0 d\u00e9battre pour am\u00e9liorer le sc\u00e9nario, d’autant qu’historiquement la fum\u00e9e des combats a bien g\u00ean\u00e9…<\/em> ]\u00a0 des marais sont pr\u00e9sents (en bleu). La rivi\u00e8re \u00e0 droite est impassable. Oui, cela donne une bataille sur un front tr\u00e8s \u00e9troit !<\/p>\n

The ground<\/strong> : many trees, but it doesn’t hinder the moves. The view was also unaffected. [ Note : this may be discussed, as even smoke sometimes blocked the view in the historical battle .; ]\u00a0 swamps were on the left (in blue). The river on the right could not be crossed. Yes, the battle will be played on a small front !

Le sc\u00e9nario<\/h2>\n

Objectif : Les sudistes doivent r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 sortir 3 r\u00e9giments en bon ordre par le c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l’Union (Est).\u00a0 La partie se termine apr\u00e8s la dixi\u00e8me carte de Move<\/em> Nordiste, sit\u00f4t la carte MOVE<\/em> sudiste suivante.<\/p>\n

Objective :\u00a0 The south must send 3 units, in good order, outside the USA border (East). The game end after the 10th Move card of the North, and after the next Move of the south.<\/span><\/p>\n

T\u00f4t, je d\u00e9cide de combattre en avant, proche des lignes ennemies, dans le but de refouler Luc \ud83d\ude09<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s quelques combats d’escarmouche ( pas de photo exploitable..) la 2nde brigade sudiste arrive.<\/p>\n

rappel : la pluie a \u00e9t\u00e9 intense. Nous avons donc enlev\u00e9 une carte \u00ab\u00a0Move\u00a0\u00bb de notre jeu, ce qui ralentit.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Je r\u00e9-organise ma brigade qui a finit de pique-niquer, et je tiens le terrain.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e8s de la rivi\u00e8re, sa 3e brigade arrive \u00e9galement !<\/td>\n\n

\u00a0De durs combats ont lieu partout !Je suis sans doute trop \u00e9loign\u00e9 de ma ligne de base, par o\u00f9 quelques rares renforts arrivent.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Je ne peux tenir plus longtemps, et mes forces craquent finalement, apr\u00e8s avoir vaillamment combattu !<\/p>\n

I could not resist any more, and my force went away, after a good fight ! My bet was too risky ( fight just in front the enemy lines, to win some time ) This was a cool game, and we will play again this scenario, the outcome may vary.<\/span><\/p>\n

Victoire Sudiste !<\/h3>\n

Contrairement \u00e0 la bataille historique, Les sudistes de Luc auront gagn\u00e9, mais en ayant eu pas mal de difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 avancer. Mon pari \u00e9tait trrrr\u00e8s risqu\u00e9 ( combattre en avant pour fatiguer au maximum les forces de Luc et gagner du temps)<\/p>\n

Mais cette bataille aura \u00e9t\u00e9 bien agr\u00e9able, je pense que nous pourrons rejouer ce sc\u00e9nario et qu’il se d\u00e9roulera diff\u00e9remment.<\/p>\n
