Nous continuons notre mini campagne France 1940 autour de Givet. Profitant de la pr\u00e9sence en France de S\u00e9bastien<\/a>, nous avons jou\u00e9 plusieurs sc\u00e9narios. ( mais par manque de temps, je n’ai pas pu faire les compte rendus au fur et \u00e0 mesure..) Voici un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 des actions jou\u00e9es. ( comme d’hab’ r\u00e8gles de jeu : Chain of Command<\/a>, figurines Pendraken<\/a> et quelques pithead.)<\/p>\n

Our France 1940 campaign is still going on, and we had several games ( Sebastien aka \u00ab\u00a0LeManchou\u00a0\u00bb<\/a> ) was here in France. I didn’t have time to post the AAR as we played, so this is a summary of the actions played.<\/span> ( rules : Chain of Command<\/a>, figurines<\/span> Pendraken<\/a> and some\u00a0 pithead.)<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Perc\u00e9e pour sortir de Givet (jou\u00e9 en solo)<\/h1>\n

J’ai jou\u00e9 ce sc\u00e9nario en solo, car je pensais que les Fran\u00e7ais n’auraient aucune chance… L’unit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise, fatigu\u00e9e, a recul\u00e9, et va essayer d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment de ralentir, voire de bloquer, la perc\u00e9e allemande.<\/p>\n

I played\u00a0 in solo, because I thought the french had no chance to win.. The french unit fell back and tried to slow down, or stop, the german advance.<\/span><\/p>\n

J’airai plusieurs jets fabuleux dans le cadre de cette partie !<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Ce sera quand m\u00eame une victoire allemande<\/strong>, car le fran\u00e7ais ne pouvait pas tenir, mais, bien que descendu \u00e0 3 d\u00e9s de commandement,\u00a0 il aura r\u00e9sist\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0comme des lions\u00a0\u00bb ( cf. le livre ). Finalement, ce qui devait \u00eatre une partie inint\u00e9ressante, aura dur\u00e9 plusieurs heures de combats acharn\u00e9s !<\/p>\n

La route semble d\u00e9sormais libre pour les forces allemandes ! Ils \u00ab\u00a0overrun<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb un QG fran\u00e7ais [B] sans combat.<\/p>\n

The german won<\/strong>, but it was a difficult fight. With only 3 dice of command after several phases, the french hold and fought ‘like lions’ ( it’s a book about France 1940). What should have been a poor game was finally a very interesting one !<\/span><\/p>\n

The road may now be clear for the german forces ! They overruned a french HQ [B] with no fight.

2. Attaque du village ( not solo )<\/h1>\n

Les allemands progressent alors tr\u00e8s vite le long de la route pour saisir le carrefour et le village.<\/p>\n

Une unit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise a fait de m\u00eame, et vient juste d’investir le village.<\/p>\n

Pourra-t-elle r\u00e9sister ?<\/p>\n

German forces advanced quickly along the road, to seize a crossroad and a small village.<\/span><\/p>\n

A french unit did the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will the french resist to the german’s push ?<\/span><\/p>\n

We were 3 players, so I gave a full chain of command dice to Seb ( playing his french ) and a 6th die for commanding. Luc and I played the german, but my dice could not end the turn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nous \u00e9tions trois joueurs, aussi ai je donn\u00e9 un d\u00e9 entier de \u00ab\u00a0chain of command\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 S\u00e9b et ses fran\u00e7ais, ainsi qu’un 6e d\u00e9 de commandement. Luc et moi jouions les allemands. Mes d\u00e9s ne pouvaient pas terminer un tour de jeu.<\/p>\n

Les fran\u00e7ais tiennent le village et S\u00e9bastien aussi arrive \u00e0 les d\u00e9ployer t\u00f4t.<\/p>\n

Ils ouvrent le feu depuis chaque fen\u00eatre, derri\u00e8re chaque muret ..<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Ma 1ere section est plus que surprise par ce feu d’enfer et subi bien des pertes !<\/p>\n

Mais elle va tenir sans casser !<\/p>\n

Les fran\u00e7ais aussi subissent des pertes.<\/p>\n

On voit ici une \u00e9quipe VB enti\u00e8re, abattue !<\/p>\n

( certains d’entre eux survivront )<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s un loooong moment, les chars allemands arrivent,<\/p>\n

et ouvrent le feu sur les b\u00e2timents.<\/p>\n

Les fran\u00e7ais n’ont pas de support anti char ( les aleas du jeu en campagne .. )<\/td>\n

Victoire Allemande<\/h3>\n

S\u00e9bastien d\u00e9cide alors de se replier, ayant caus\u00e9 quelques pertes aux allemands (et fatigu\u00e9 l’unit\u00e9, c’est un jeu en campagne ). En effet les fran\u00e7ais ne peuvent s’opposer aux chars allemands, n’ayant pas de support anti char ( c’est un jeu en campagne disais je !) Il aurait pu gagner au moral, mais c’\u00e9tait difficile. ( On pourrait toutefois discuter de sa tactique de d\u00e9fense frontale .. )<\/p>\n

Cette partie a \u00e9t\u00e9 un peu statique, beaucoup de tirs. ( peut \u00eatre aurions nous du joueur dans l’autre sens de la table ?) Mais ce fut un bon jeu, plaisant. Merci messieurs !<\/p>\n

Sebastien decided to get back, as he wasn’t able to fire at the tanks. ( it’s a campaign game, this unit did not have any support !) There were casualties on both sides, and the units took some ‘fatigue’. He may have won, but it was difficult. ( we may discuss about his tactic, defending the village in a front line … )<\/span><\/p>\n

This game was about fire, not much movement.. May be we should have use th largest side of the table ?\u00a0 But it was a good game. Thank you gentlemen !

PS : nous avions commenc\u00e9 cette campagne avant la sortie de l’extension pour CoC : At The Sharp End. Notre campagne n’est pas sur la m\u00eame \u00e9chelle, puisque nous jouons plusieurs unit\u00e9s. Mais je r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis \u00e0 utiliser ATSE pour une campagne dans Stonne..<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We started our current campaign before At The Sharp End. Our campaign is not using the same scale, as we have several units. But I’m thinking about ATSE for a campaign in Stonne ..<\/span><\/em>
