Nous ne pouvions plus attendre la pourtant tr\u00e8s prochaine parution des listes officielles pour le front Franco-Belge 1940, aussi avons nous d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de joue cette 2e partie pour moi, 1ere pour Luc en extrapolant les listes et r\u00e8gles sp\u00e9cifiques.. Comme d’habitude nous mettons le pouce \u00e0 2cm, par simplification, et parce que \u00e7a rend mieux.<\/p>\n

We couldn’t\u00a0 wait no more for the official lists \u00ab\u00a0West Front 1940\u00a0\u00bb \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 so we decided to play with our house rules. ( these official lists are awaited in several days only, but we couldn’t ..) It was my 2nd game, and the first one for Luc. As always, we use 1 inch = 2cm for simplicity. And it looks good too.

Une Reco en force en France, 1940<\/h1>\n

Les listes officielles paraissent tr\u00e8s rapidement sur le blog de Chain of Command<\/a>, ( Pologne 39, Guerre d’Hiver russo finlandaise, et nous attendons sous quelques jours le front Ouest 1940..). Mais nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 jou\u00e9 cette partie d’initiation pour Luc il y a une dizaine de jours. Les figurines sont des Pendraken 10mm<\/a>, le sc\u00e9nario choisi pour ce wargame avec figurines est le 2e, \u00ab\u00a0Probe\u00a0\u00bb. (1er oubli de ma part, en tant que d\u00e9fenseur, j’aurai p\u00fb choisir de jouer sur le petit c\u00f4t\u00e9 plut\u00f4t que sur le grand !)<\/p>\n

Although official lists are coming on too fat lardies Blog ( Poland 39, Winter war ..) we deciced to play our Pendraken 10mm in the 2nd scenario \u00ab\u00a0The Probe\u00a0\u00bb. I forget the rules where I can choose the board edge. Not a great mistake.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le 2e oubli, sera une mauvaise re-lecture des possibilit\u00e9s d’overwatch, laissant ainsi Luc les utiliser bien trop facilement ! \u00a0\u00bb To\u00a0 deploy\u00a0 a\u00a0 Unit\u00a0 on\u00a0 Overwatch\u00a0 counts\u00a0 as\u00a0 its activation for that Phase (it may do nothing else) as it deploys to take up the best stance to cover the area ordered<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

My second mistake with the rules was about overwatch. I let Luc played it too easily, as I forget it was their only activation.<\/span><\/p>\n

La phase de patrouille :<\/h3>\n

Cette phase tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cifique est un \u00ab\u00a0petit jeu dans le jeu\u00a0\u00bb et requiert que le joueur sache penser.. Elle conditionne la fa\u00e7on dont les figurines pourront entrer en jeu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l’issue de cette phase, j’ai essay\u00e9 de contourner mon adversaire allemand par ma gauche.<\/p>\n

La maison centrale a bien vite \u00e9t\u00e9 rep\u00e9r\u00e9e par chaque joueur comme un point d’appui potentiel tr\u00e8s important.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Luc a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s chanceux aux d\u00e9s, et \u00e0 r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 jouer plusieurs fois de suite ! Ou \u00e9tait ce mes officiers fran\u00e7ais qui \u00e9taient absents ?<\/p>\n

Ils auraient pu d\u00e9ja gagner le sc\u00e9nario mais Luc voulait infliger davantage de pertes aux fran\u00e7ais !<\/td>\n

Les allemands reculent apr\u00e8s avoir subi pas mal de pertes !<\/p>\n

Le tromblon VB fran\u00e7ais et les FM ont fait un bon boulot.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Luc s’aper\u00e7oit alors qu’il avait eu BEAUCOUP de chances jusqu’ici, et que les troupes fran\u00e7aises peuvent – parfois – avoir du r\u00e9pondant. Il d\u00e9cid\u00e9 alors de terminer le sc\u00e9nario (ses troupes atteignent mon bord de table, sa reco en force est une r\u00e9ussite). Il \u00e9tait temps, car je commen\u00e7ais \u00e0 perdre des d\u00e9s de commandement, mon moral ayant bien chut\u00e9. Les allemands n’ont pas eu besoin d’utiliser leur mortier de 50mm, on verra une prochaine fois ce que \u00e7a donne..\u00a0 Une bonne partie, un bon jeu, tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent de nos jeux habituels. Nous avons bien aim\u00e9 !<\/p>\n

Luc understood suddenly he was very lucky from the beginning, but the French may be a tough ennemy. He decided to win the game, his men went to my board edge, his probe was a victory. I was losing Command Dice as my moral was now low. The german didn’t have to use their 50mm mortar, we’ll see next time.. A good game with good rules, very different from what we usually play. We liked this game !<\/span><\/p>\n
