Nous avons trouv\u00e9 le temps de tester la nouvelle r\u00e8gle :<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">We finally find some time to play our first game of these new rules :<\/span><\/p>\n<h1>Chain of Command<\/h1>\n<p>( bon.. personnellement  je n&rsquo;aime pas la couverture.. \ud83d\ude09 )\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #008000;\">I don&rsquo;t like the front cover, it&rsquo;s a matter of taste \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00c9dit\u00e9e par <a title=\"TooFatLardies\" href=\"http:\/\/toofatlardies.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">too fat lardies<\/a>, les cr\u00e9ateurs de IABSM ou <em>Platoon Forward<\/em>, entre autres, cette<strong> nouvelle r\u00e8gle de jeu d&rsquo;histoire avec figurines<\/strong> \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s (tr\u00e8s !) attendue dans le microcosme des joueurs des wargamers. La campagne de <em>teasing<\/em> des auteurs a d&rsquo;ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 bien con\u00e7ue, avec des explications en vid\u00e9o etc.<\/p>\n<p>Plut\u00f4t que de faire une pr\u00e9sentation tr\u00e8s d\u00e9taill\u00e9e, vous en trouverez d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur le web, voici un<strong> mini compte rendu de notre 1ere partie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"> These rules from <\/span><a title=\"TooFatLardies\" href=\"http:\/\/toofatlardies.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">too fat lardies<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000;\"> were strongly awaited. You&rsquo;ll find some good reviews on the internet, so I will only tell about our first play test. ( <\/span><a title=\"site web pendraken figurines\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pendraken.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">pendraken<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000;\"> minis, 10mm, russian front for a change. We used 1 inch = 2cm. As we always do in our games. I found 1\u00a0\u00bb = 1cm too close, too short. With 2cm (instead of a real 2,54cm), it worked well<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">We had only a few minis, but it was ok for our first game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Les figurines sont des <a title=\"site web pendraken figurines\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pendraken.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">pendraken<\/a>, 10mm, du <strong>front russe<\/strong> pour changer. Toutefois nous n&rsquo;avions pas les effectifs complets pour ce premier jeu. \u00c7a nous arrangeait d&rsquo;\u00eatre en sous effectif pour une initiation. Ludo a accept\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00eatre mon adversaire pour ce test.<\/p>\n<p>Comme d&rsquo;habitude, nous avons utilis\u00e9 1 pouce = 2cm (au lieu de 2,54cm). Les auteurs sugg\u00e8rent de le mettre \u00e0 1cm pour notre \u00e9chelle de 10mm, mais je pense que ce serait \u00ab\u00a0trop dense\u00a0\u00bb. Cette mesure habituelle pour\u00a0 nos jeux a bien fonctionn\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Voici donc, dans l&rsquo;ordre du d\u00e9roulement de la partie les diff\u00e9rentes phases :<\/p>\n<h2>Choix des troupes :<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2d6.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/za_rodinu_za_stalina.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1878\" title=\"za_rodinu_za_stalina\" src=\"http:\/\/2d6.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/za_rodinu_za_stalina-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"138\" height=\"93\" srcset=\"https:\/\/2d6.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/za_rodinu_za_stalina-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/2d6.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/za_rodinu_za_stalina.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 138px) 100vw, 138px\" \/><\/a>Nous aurons \u00e0 jouer une section ( \u00ab\u00a0<em>platoon<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb )avec d&rsquo;\u00e9ventuels assets. En effet, une organisation historique est propos\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0de base\u00a0\u00bb, puis selon le sc\u00e9nario et le rapport de force des qualit\u00e9s des troupes, un certain nombre d&rsquo;assets sont \u00e0 ajouter. Depuis un b\u00eate \u00ab\u00a0<em>satchel<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb jusqu&rsquo;au chars lourds (peu fr\u00e9quents !). le jeu est un jeu skirmish, ax\u00e9 surtout sur l&rsquo;infanterie.. Plus que nos habituels <em>Force on Force<\/em>. Les auteurs se sont bas\u00e9s apparemment sur des manuels tactiques d&rsquo;\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">We played a platoon, and could have some assets from support lists. In this skirmish game, mainly focused on infantry, we may have some tanks, but it&rsquo;s about the men who fought, their leaders, and their real tactics<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Ludo jouait les russes, 2 squads seulement (au lieu de trois), renforc\u00e9s par quelques mitrailleurs. Je jouais les allemands (ben voui&#8230; \ud83d\ude09 ) avec 2 squads \u00e9galement. Mon seul support \u00e9tait un adjudant ( son r\u00f4le peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s important pour faire entrer les troupes sur la table de jeu). Le sc\u00e9nario choisit \u00e9tait celui d&rsquo;une patrouille dans la zone des combats en, bi\u00e9lorussie.\u00a0 Le moral de mes\u00a0 troupes \u00e9tait de 8, ce qui est tr\u00e8s bas pour mes allemands !! Les russes avaient 10.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Ludo played the russians, with only two squads, and some support with SMG. I played german ( yes, I can also play german ! \ud83d\ude09 ) with two squads and an adjutant as a support. We played the patrol scenario, in bielorussia<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #008000;\">The moral was low,\u00a0 8 for\u00a0 my german soldiers !! The russians were 10<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2>La Patrouille &#8211; 1ere phase de jeu :<\/h2>\n<p>Chaque partie d\u00e9bute par une phase de jeu sp\u00e9cifique, tr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0jeu d&rsquo;\u00e9checs\u00a0\u00bb, o\u00f9 chacun \u00e0 tour de r\u00f4le avance un gros marqueur, en cr\u00e9ant une chaine de communication. Je dois dire que Ludo n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s bon.. J&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 pire !\u00a0 Ensuite ces gros marqueurs conditionnent le placement, abrit\u00e9, des points d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e. Ces derniers serviront \u00e0 faire entrer nos troupes. Parfois ils peuvent se retrouver en bord de table.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Each game start with a special patrol phase, where players use large markers, forming a \u00ab\u00a0communication chain\u00a0\u00bb. Ludo didn&rsquo;t play this very well. I was worse ! Then we deployed our jump-off points. They must be in cover. Il conviendra de l&rsquo;\u00e9tudier !<\/p>\n<h2>Entr\u00e9es des troupes<\/h2>\n<p>Les soldats entrent ensuite en jeu, comme s&rsquo;ils \u00e9taient activ\u00e9s (j&rsquo;y reviens). Il va de soit qu&rsquo;un point d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e bien plac\u00e9 donne un avantage redoutable ! Le joueur lance un certain nombre de d6, habituellement cinq, qui vont lui indiquer ce qu&rsquo;il peut faire. Les r\u00e9sultats \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a06\u00a0\u00bb sont sp\u00e9ciaux, et trait\u00e9s \u00e0 part. ( \u00e9v\u00e8nements, points de commandement etc.) les \u00ab\u00a01\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a04\u00a0\u00bb vont permettre d&rsquo;activer (ou de faire entrer en jeu) CERTAINES unit\u00e9s. Ainsi un \u00ab\u00a01\u00a0\u00bb ne permettra d&rsquo;activer b\u00eatement qu&rsquo;une team ( exemple une MG) pour une action de tir, par exemple. Tandis qu&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a03\u00a0\u00bb activerait son sous-off, qui lui peut donner des ordres diff\u00e9rents, plus complexes, OU plus pr\u00e9cis. Voire utiliser une particularit\u00e9 nationale. (ces derni\u00e8res n&rsquo;\u00e9tant pas gros-bill !)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Playing five 6 sided dice, the player may deploy\/active some units. Each result \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a06\u00a0\u00bb is a special one ( events, command points ..), while \u00ab\u00a01\u00a0\u00bb to \u00ab\u00a04\u00a0\u00bb may be used for the soldiers. A simple \u00ab\u00a01\u00a0\u00bb may activated a simple team ( ie. a MG team for firing), while a \u00ab\u00a03\u00a0\u00bb may activate his junior officer. He would give more orders, or more complex order, or even use\u00a0 a national characteristic. (They&rsquo;re not too powerful, that&rsquo;s good !)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Le tour de jeu dure <strong><em>un certain nombre de phases<\/em><\/strong> ! Il n&rsquo;est termin\u00e9 qu&rsquo;avec un certain nombre de \u00ab\u00a06\u00a0\u00bb ou sur l&rsquo;utilisation de points de commandement de la part d&rsquo;un joueur. C&rsquo;est redoutable, car il termine certaines actions : marqueurs de fum\u00e9es, d\u00e9routes, captures de points d&rsquo;entr\u00e9es &lsquo;jump-off&rsquo; ..<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">The turn may last for many phases, ending only with some \u00ab\u00a06\u00a0\u00bb or the use of command points.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Les combats :<\/h3>\n<p>Le jeu sacrifie \u00e0 la mode de \u00ab\u00a0pleins de d\u00e9s \u00e0 lancer\u00a0\u00bb, je n&rsquo;aime pas trop, mais je n&rsquo;ai pas \u00e9t\u00e9 g\u00ean\u00e9. \u00c7a reste raisonable, et surtout facile \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre. Apr\u00e8s quelques phases nous n&rsquo;avions plus besoin de regarder l&rsquo;aide de jeu (QRS).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">The game use plenty of firing dice. I usually don&rsquo;t like it, but it wasn&rsquo;t a problem. They stopped a charge, where I suffered many casualties.)<\/p><\/div><\/td>\n<td>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Des mitrailleurs russes \u00e9quip\u00e9s de leur PPSh.<\/p>\n<p>De prime abord Ludo a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9\u00e7u par les SMG..\u00a0 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;il les utilisent \u00e0 bout portant contre une tentative de charge \u00e0 la grenade de ma part. Les sensations sont assez bien rendues, et les r\u00e8gles &#8211; quoi que plus complexes que nos jeux du moment &#8211; restent fluides et assez simples. Elles requi\u00e8rent toutefois un peu d&rsquo;investissement pour apprendre ( mouvements tactiques, overwatch etc.) sans quoi on ne sait pas ce qu&rsquo;on peut faire.<\/p>\n<p>J&rsquo;ai pour ma part ador\u00e9 ce jeu, dont j&rsquo;attendais beaucoup. Je pense avec Ludo qu&rsquo;il ne sera pas forc\u00e9ment utilis\u00e9 dans notre campagne 1940 (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">qui devrait reprendre sous peu<\/span> !) mais c&rsquo;est vraimen<strong>t une autre fa\u00e7on de jouer<\/strong>. Tr\u00e8s bon !<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Ludo wasn&rsquo;t as bad as me, and thus he won ! We had some good sensations, and really liked the game. It is a bit more complex than our usual games ( what we play now, not what we used to play), but the rules are good and not that complex. You just have to learn some concepts and some rules ( tactical, overwatch ..)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">I really liked this game. We won&rsquo;t use it with our France 1940 campaign ( we will start again after the summer break), as it was started with other rules, but will play Chain of Command more. It&rsquo;s a new way of playing the fights. En effet, le livre de base se concentre sur la fin de la guerre sur le front Europ\u00e9en : Russes, Anglais, Am\u00e9ricains et Allemands. Il est toutefois assez facile d&rsquo;extrapoler.
